I completed my undergraduate studies in Forestry Department at NTU (National Taiwan University). That's the reason why I do love tree or forest structure so much. Here is a picture taken from those days. Then, I joined the graduate school of National Defense Management College (Taiwan) in 1984 where I learned more about computer programming. I got my first master degree from there in 1986. From 1990 to 1992, I went abroad to Temple University (in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA), studied in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences. I got my second master degree from there. From 1993, I joined the Ph.D program in the Department of Information Management at NTUST (the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology). After a long time struggle, I eventually got my Ph.D degree in 2002. My current research interests include graph theory and algorithm analysis.
